NOX4 / NADPH Oxidase 4 (NOX4/1245) , CF647 conjugate , 0.1mg / mL
The superoxide-generating NADPH oxidase includes a membrane-bound flavocytochrome containing two subunits , gp91-phox and p22-phox , and the cytosolic proteins p47-phox and p67-phox. During activation of the NADPH oxidase , p47-phox and p67-phox migrate to the plasma membrane where they associate with the flavocytochrome , cytochrome b558 , to form the active enzyme complex. The p22 and gp91-phox subunits also function as surface O2 sensors that initiate cellular signaling in response to hypoxic conditions. NOX4 is a renal gp91-phox homolog highly expressed at the site of erythropoietin production in the proximal convoluted tubule epithelial cells of the renal cortex. It is also expressed in fetal tissues , placenta , glioblastoma and vascular cells.Primary antibodies are available purified , or with a selection of fluorescent CF® Dyes and other labels. CF® Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF®405S and CF®405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets , because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
