Background : GTP-binding protein that functions as an allosteric activator of the cholera toxin catalytic subunit, an ADP-ribosyltransferase. Deactivation induces the redistribution of the entire Golgi complex to the endoplasmic retic µLum, s µggesting a crucial role in protein trafficking.
