Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate ACV-A in samples. An antibody specific for ACV-A has been pre-coated onto a microplate. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for ACV-A is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Product Overview : Activin A, a cytokine member of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily, is expressed locally by the mesenchymal component of the hemopoietic microenvironment. Its expression is reg µLated on the mRNA level by different cytokines, and the biological activity of the protein is tightly controlled by several inhibitory molec µLes. Activin A affects hemopoietic cells of various lineages, as evidenced by in vitro studies of leukemia and lymphoma cell lines, which were used to elucidate the mechanism of its action. In the B-cell lineage, activin A is a cell cycle inhibitor, a mediator of apoptosis, and a cytokine antagonist. Product Overview : ACTL6A encodes a family member of actin-related proteins (ARPs), The 429-amino acid BAF53 protein shares extensive amino acid homology with actin and the yeast actin-related proteins Act2 and Act3.
