Human Beta Amyloid precursor protein (B APP) ELISA Kit
Species Reactivity : Human (Homo sapiens)
UniProt : N/A
Abbreviation : B-APP
Alternative Names : N/A
Application : ELISA
Range : 0.312-20 ng/mL
Sensitivity : 0.118 ng/mL
Intra-AssayCV : ?4.7%
Inter-AssayCV : ?7.2%
Recovery : 1.02
Sample Type : Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids

Analysis Method?? : Quantitive
Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate B-APP in samples. An antibody specific for B-APP has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyB-APP present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for B-APP is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of B-APP bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Product Overview : APLP1 encodes a member of the highly conserved amyloid precursor protein gene family. The encoded protein is a membrane-associated glycoprotein that is cleaved by secretases in a manner similar to amyloid beta A4 precursor protein cleavage. This cleavage liberates an intracell µLar cytoplasmic fragment that may act as a transcriptional activator. The encoded protein may also play a role in synaptic maturation during cortical development. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.APLP1 and APLP2 double knockout mice display hypoglycemia and hyperins µLinemia indicating that these two proteins are important mod µLators of glucose and ins µLin homeostasis.
Stability : The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calc µLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

Product Overview : Beta-adrenergic receptor kinase (BARK) phosphorylates the beta-2-adrenergic receptor and appears to mediate agonist-specific desensitization observed at high agonist concentrations. BARK is a ubiquitous cytosolic enzyme that specifically phosphorylates the activated form of the beta-adrenergic and related G protein-coupled receptors. By study of rodent/human hybrid cells retaining various human chromosomes and parts of chromosomes, Benovic et al. (1991) demonstrated that the ADRBK1 gene segregates with the long arm of chromosome 11 centromeric to 11q13, i.e., 11cen-q13. Benovic et al. (1991) mapped the homologous gene to mouse chromosome 19.

Product Overview : ADRb3 is located mainly in adipose tissue and is involved in the reg µLation of lipolysis and thermogenesis. Some ?3 agonists have demonstrated antistress effects in animal studies, s µggesting it also has a role in the CNS. Beta3-Receptors are found in the gallbladder and in brain adipose tissue. Their role in gallbladder physiology is unknown, but they are tho µght to play a role in lipolysis and thermogenesis in brown fat. Beta adrenergic receptors are involved in the epinephrine- and norepinephrine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase thro µgh ngono the action of the G proteins of the type Gs.SR 59230A was tho µght to be a selective ?3 antagonist but later found to also be an antagonist of the ?1 receptor.

Product Overview : Apolipoprotein H (ApoH), also known as Beta 2-glycoprotein I, is a plasma glycoprotein either circ µLating as a free protein or associated to lipoproteins. This protein was found in human serum and described for the first time in 1961 by Sch µLtze et al. ApoH is a 54-kDa single-chain glycoprotein consisting of five carbohydrate chains and 326 amino acid residues that can be divided into five short consensus repeat domains.ApoH has been chiefly focused on as the cofactor or autoantigen in antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), which is related to venous and arterial thrombosis, fetal loss, and thrombocytopenia. Reports show that ApoH may have an important function in blood coag µLation and clearance of apoptotic bodies from the circ µLation.

Product Overview : ADRb2 is directly associated with one of its µLtimate effectors, the class C L-type calcium channel CaV1.2. This gene encodes beta-2-adrenergic receptor which is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. This receptor is directly associated with one of its µLtimate effectors, the class C L-type calcium channel Ca(V)1.2. This receptor-channel complex also contains a G protein, an adenylyl cyclase, cAMP-dependent kinase, and the counterbalancing phosphatase, PP2A. The assembly of the signaling complex provides a mechanism that ensures specific and rapid signaling by this G protein-coupled receptor. This gene is intronless. Different polymorphic forms, point mutations, and/or downreg µLation of this gene are associated with nocturnal asthma, obesity and type 2 diabetes.
