An Introduction to Blocking Peptides : A superior strategy for validation of antibody binding is the use of blocking peptides. In a Western Blotting assay, our blocking peptide was validated to block the signal of this antibody. This ensures the site-specificity of an antibody, including phosphor-antibodies.
